Introducing Queen Henry - First Chapman Women In Film Short Film, a project directed by Sierra Brogmus which features an all-women crew from Chapman University Dodge College Women in Film Club. This short film tells the story of a young woman named Erika who discovers true empowerment through the arts and her femininity, as she finds strength in performing a typically masculine Shakespeare monologue of King Henry V.
"Through working with this incredible crew of women, especially for the on-set production of this 10 page script in 2 1/2 days, I found such strength in each of these wonderful women. It was the most efficient set I had ever been on!" - Sierra
This project showcases the talent and creativity of female filmmakers, female representation, and highlights the power of embracing one's true self.
